４障害者(しょうがいしゃ)は、他(た)の者(もの)との平等(びょうどう)を基礎(きそ)として、その独自(どくじ)の文化的(ぶんかてき)及(およ)び言語(げんご)的(てき)な同一性(どういつせい)（手話(しゅわ)及(およ)び聾(ろう)文化(ぶんか)を含(ふく)む。）の承認(しょうにん)及(およ)び支持(しじ)を受(う)ける権利(けんり)を有(ゆう)する。

4. Persons with disabilities shall be entitled, on an equal basis with others, to recognition and support of their specific cultural and linguistic identity, including sign languages and deaf culture.
